                             ABSTRACT
This study investigated the impact of mother health care delivery in preparation for childbirth.
A total of 150 female teachers were selected using purposeful sampling from ten schools in Ikorodu Local Government area of Lagos State.
A questionnaire was designed and used to collect data T-test statistical means was to analyze the data collected.
Analysis of the data showed that there is no significance difference between the services rendered by qualified doctors and unqualified doctors for mother health care  delivery care in preparation for child birth.
It also shows that there are enough trained nurse to guide the female teachers in the health care delivery in preparation for child birth in Ikorodu Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Based on this finding, it is recommended that Lagos State Government should establish good antenatal clinics in all the rural areas especially for pregnant women.
